Grace

Grace is a body of work born from watching my daughter move through the world - sometimes with breathtaking elegance, somtimes with chaotic clumsiness. It’s named for the duality she carries: the fluid, commanding presence she has when playing cello and bass, and the ironic nickname we gave her as a child when she tripped over everything in sight.

These pieces are not sentimental. They’re forged from contradiction. Each piece is a response to her rhythm, her resilience, her refusal to be one thing.

This work is about movement, inheritance, and the myth of becoming. It’s not a portrait. It’s a reckoning.
